I wish to acknowledge the following sources for the enneagram materials presented in these pages. First of all, let me acknowledge Oscar Ichaso, who brought all of this wonderful technology to the West. I am especially greatful for his dissemination of the enneagrams on the "Various Enneagrams" page through the Arica Institute.

Secondly, I want to thank Alice Rice, a friend of Robert Jolly, who attended Oscar's first training in Arica, Chile in 1969. She introduced me to the diagram and the fixations as early as 1970 or 1971.

Next, I want to thank Claudio Naranjo, who I met in 1972 through Zalman Schachter. Claudio taught the very first enneagram class that I took at SAT in 1974.

Then, there is Helen Palmer! She has been my mentor since 1987, and I became a Certified Teacher of the Enneagram In The Oral Tradition with Helen Palmer and Dr. David Daniels in 1991. I have taken many classes and workshops from Helen, and I find her totally knowledgable in the enneagram as well as many spiritual topics. I am especially greatful to Helen and Dr. Marlene Cohen for allowing me to use their instrument for enneagram typing.

In my classes, I have come across many fine people of all types. Some have been so kind as to provide me with material that I have utilized in preparing these pages. Specifically, I want to acknowledge Dale Knutsen, Vicky Rybka, and Joan Weir for their continued help and support, and Bill Campbell, and Torrey Waag for use of their material.
